News - Carole Stone

Carole Stone has a new book of poems, Traveling with the Dead, forthcoming from Backwaters Press in 2007.

News - Joyce Nower

Joyce Nower has a poem called "Pop" in the June 2007 issue of Feile-Festa. The New York-based magazine will host a reading at the KGB Bar in the  East Village in New York  on Saturday, June 16th, 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Joyce also has two poems in the  Summer 2007 Issue of Avatar Review:  "The Back Yard' and "On the Roof."    An audio rendition accompanies "The Back Yard."

Nine of Nower's poems are presented at The Poets' Corner, a site hosted by the Pedagogical Institute of Bolzano, Italy. 

New book by Frances Ruhlen McConnell due out this summer, & reading

Frances Ruhluen McConnell has a longish poem in the current issue of Zyzzyva and a new book of poems--The Direction of Longing--coming out this summer (http://www.bellowingark.org/).  

She will be reading at the Claremont Public Library (at the corner of Second and Harvard, in Claremont, California) on Sunday, August 19th at 2 p.m.
