Cati Porter
Cati Porter is a poet, reviewer, contributing associate editor for Babel (www.icorn.org), and founding editor of Poemeleon: A Journal of Poetry (www.poemeleon.org). Some of the journals where her poems have appeared include Banyan Review, kaleidowhirl, Literary Mama, MotherVerse, Pomona Valley Review, Poetry Midwest, Poetry Southeast, SN Review, Sunspinner, Vermilion Literary Project, with poems forthcoming in the anthologies Bedside Guide to No Tell Motel -- Second Floor (No Tell Books), White Ink: Poems on Mothers and Mothering (Demeter Press), and Letters to the World (Red Hen Press). Mani Suri

Mani Suri is a veteran of the Poetic License crowd in L.A. Mani is known for crafting images out of thin air and exposing a new perspective on every subject he approaches. He is the author of two chapbooks, Poetry My Wife Hates and the Mistresses I Could Have Had Would Have Loved and Reflection: More Poetry My Wife Hates or the Mistresses I'll Never Have Who Might Have Loved It, and co-hosts a weekly reading at the Rapp Saloon in Santa Monica.

Rick Lupert has been involved in the Los Angeles poetry community since 1990. He served for two years as a co-director of the Valley Contemporary Poets, a twenty-five year old non-profit organization which produces a readings and publications out of the San Fernando Valley. His poetry has appeared in numerous magazines and literary journals, including The Los Angeles Times, Chiron Review, Stirring, poeticdiversity, Zuzu's Petals, Caffeine Magazine, Blue Satellite and others. He is the author of 10 books: Paris: It's The Cheese, I Am My Own Orange County, Mowing Fargo, I'm a Jew. Are You?, Stolen Mummies, I'd Like to Bake Your Goods, (Ain't Got No Press), Lizard King of the Laundromat, Brendan Constantine is My Kind of Town (Inevitable Press), Feeding Holy Cats and Up Liberty's Skirt (Cassowary Press). He serves on the Artist and Community Advisory Council of Beyond Baroque Literary Arts Center in Venice, California. (Though he's not sure how that happened or what it means.) He has hosted the long running Cobalt Café reading series in Canoga Park since 1994 and is regularly featured at venues throughout Southern California.

Currently Rick works as a music teacher at Temple Ahavat Shalom in Northridge and is the graphics and media specialist for the New Jewish Community Center at Milken and a freelance graphic and web designer for anyone who would like to help pay his mortgage.

Elaine is the Golden Pegasus winner 1996, Beth Martin Haas Award 2002 winner, and among many other awards and recognitions she is the Godmother of the Our Poetics Souls reading.
