Djelloul Marbrook's second book of poems, Brushstrokes and Glances, will be published by Deerbrook Editions in December 2010. These poems are about painters, paintings and museums. His first book of poems, Far From Algiers, won the 2007 Stan and Tom Wick Poetry Prize from Kent State University and the International Book Award in 2010. His novel, Artemisia's Wolf, will be published next year by Prakash Books, India. His short story, Yo Sheherazade, and a poem, Bowl of Petals, will be published in Orbis 152, UK. The increasing popularity of e-readers has given his 1999 novella, Alice Miller's Room, published by Online Originals, new attention.
