Poetry Book Giveaway

Happy Day 10 of National Poetry Month!

In celebration I want to let you know that Poemeleon is participating in the Poetry Book Giveway that Kelli Russell Agodon is coordinating.

Here is a list of Poemeleon contributors who are participating in the Poetry Book Giveaway:

Sherry Chandler

Ching-In Chen

Jeannine Hall Gailey

Bridget Kelly-Lossada

Diane Lockward

Ruth Nolan

Martha Silano

Laura Madeline Wiseman

Lynn Wagner

(Check out the Book of Kells for a complete list of Bloggers participating in the giveaway.)

Here is how it works:

Visit the bloggers above and leave a comment on their giveaway post; this constitutes your entry. Also, please leave a comment on this post to win a copy of either my book, Seven Floors Up, or, in celebration of our upcoming Collaborative Issue, a copy of Saints of Hysteria: A Half Century of Collaborative American Poetry, an anthology edited by Denise Duhamel whose collaborative poetry we are featuring in the issue.

I am also participating on my own blog, where I am offering a copy of Beth Ann Fennelly's book Unmentionables (look for a collaborative poem by Fennelly and Ann Fisher-Wirth in the upcoming issue)

or a copy of Juan Felipe Herrerra's novel-in-verse CrashBoomLove, os well as my own book, Seven Floors Up.

So please visit all of these blogs for a chance to win one (or possibly more!) of their books.

On May 1st I will choose two winners from the Poemeleon blog and three from my own. (And please be sure to leave an email in your comment so that I can get a hold of you.)

Check back regularly -- the Collaborative Issue is in the works, and though it will probably launch later than anticipated, it should be up by the end of this month.

(If you're a contributor who is participating in the Poetry Book Giveaway drop me a line at editor (at) poemeleon (dot) org and I'll add your name to the list.)
