Heidi Arnold lives in solitude at the edge of the Catskill Mountains.  The
living forest is an abiding presence in her life and her poems.  Arnold uses
the poetic line to mimic the rhythm of forest sounds -- the forest doesn't
speak in prose, but voices one living, ecstatic, unending poem.

Arnold's poem, "Feedings," is forthcoming in an anthology of poetry from the Women's Poetry Listserv (WomPo). She also has two prose meditations in The Lutheran.
