Editor's Note, Volume III Issue 2 - the Humor Issue

Funny how the time flies. Well, maybe not so funny. Here we are at the end of February and finally the humor issue is unveiled. Thankfully there are at least a few more weeks of Winter, so technically it's not late...!

Lots of good stuff in this issue, poems that will make you gasp, gag, spit out your juice, split your pants, and some of them may even make you laugh. Check out the contributors' notes for their individual takes on 'funny' poetry. I noticed a number of references to the same classic Mel Brooks line. I guess great minds think alike.

Some small changes this time around. The bookstore is closed for renovation. The winner of the Mystery Box contest has yet to be determined (though we are nearing a decision so stand by—I'll make an announcement via the NewsBlog when we do). Also, you may have noticed the lovely painting that graces our virtual cover for this issue; many thanks to Walter Lab for lending us his art. And thanks to Tom Hunley, our book review editor, for bar inspiration.

If this were a bar, I'd say watch out for those complimentary nuts.
