christina cook

I think of my poems as efforts to see into the life of my surroundings, to discover in the amalgam of imagination and physical reality what mood they're in, what's on their mind. When I am attentive enough to their minutiae, they will yield image, word, and voice. My immediate surroundings never cease to surprise me with their poetry.
