I have just learned that Sherman Alexie, whose prose poem "Inappropriate" we featured in the Humor Issue, has just won the PEN/Faulkner Award for his collection of short stories, War Dances.
Sherman Alexie came to Poemeleon as a result of his reading Poemeleon's contribution to Meridian's 2006 Best New Poets anthology.
