We had some amazing work submitted, and it caused us to think about what exactly constitues a collaborative work. Some of the work that was sent was more responsive than collaborative, i.e. ekphrasis after an existing painting rather than a joint partnership between author and artist. I'm very excited about this issue and we have lots of intriguing work to present, including collaborative poems by Denise Duhamel and Stephen Miller, Ann Fisher-Wirth and Beth Ann Fennelly, Richard Garcia and the notorious Long Table Poets, Sarah Maclay and Holaday Mason, and many many more.
Also, while the current Mystery Box Contest is now closed, we do want to invite everyone to read the poems and vote for their favorite. The poems can be found here and the polling place here.
