Here's Maureen Alsop, a past contributor (issues 1 & 2), now one of my lovely associate editors! She read her poem "Sunshield", after paintings from Wyeth's "Helga" series.

Lavina Blossom

Frankie Drayus

What a treat to meet contributors face to face! Here's Frankie Drayus, an L.A. poet, reading, among others, "Lust" (found in the most recent issue of Third Coast), and "Naiad", a villanelle from the form issue.

Judy Kronenfeld

Here's Judy Kronenfeld, who also read at last year's reading. Among the poems that she read this time was her very funny villanelle, "HMOgenized".

Robert Krut

Another L.A. poet, Robert Krut, who teaches at UCSB, read both of his poems from the form issue, among others.

Frances Ruhlen McConnel

Frances Ruhlen McConnel, reading her "Double Sonnet on the Occasion of My Granddaughter's Viewing of Her First Sex Education Film", as well as several haiku and poems from her new book.
